Youth Advancement Initiative and The San Antonio Outlaws are a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization that is based on the East side of San Antonio and was established in 2008 by Founder and President, Fred A. Davis. Our program serves more than 300 children throughout the city of San Antonio and its surrounding areas. Our primary goal is to use sports as a platform to reach as many kids as possible in order to assist them in an effort to build character, strengthen communities and improve self –esteem while producing tomorrow’s leaders. We assist children from the ages of 3 through 18, which include boys and girls.
To inspire, youth, regardless of race, color, creed, or national origin; to practice the ideals of health, citizenship and character; to bring youth closer together through the means of common interest in sportsmanship and fair play; to impart to the game elements of safety, sanity, and intelligent supervision; and to keep the welfare of the player first, foremost and entirely free of adult quest for glory.
The vision of our organization is to ensure that all of our children enjoy the full physical, emotional and social benefits of team related sport activities while preparing for higher education. We provide tutoring and mentoring to our children and encourage positive attitudes and behavior. Our organization is rapidly expanding to meet the needs of our community and our youth. Youth Advancement Initiative and the San Antonio Outlaws believe in building communities of strong leaders, by encouraging and rewarding strong academic achievement, teaching the lessons of dedication, honest effort, and fair play. We believe special athletes will emerge to become the future leaders of our community.
We believe that every player, no matter his/her age, gender, weight or experience, deserves to have fun and contribute to the team in a safe and rewarding environment. Every player is given an opportunity to progress on the practice field and at football games, and each player is held accountable for their corresponding responsibility. We are a competitive team though in a highly competitive league; therefore, we expect for our players to be focused and ready to execute their assignment.
Why The San Antonio Outlaws?
We are committed to teaching the fundamentals of the game of football and to improve the abilities and self-esteem of every player in the organization. We are dedicated to player development, safety and coaches training, going well above all the football organizations in San Antonio and the surrounding areas. We are a no-nonsense organization; we listen and take action on all well-founded structured concerns. Safety is our top priority, we will prepare your players for the game, but we will not risk injury if we can avoid it.
